Hand-turned from Mango (Mangifera indica), The Tropical Prism Vessel is a one-of-one serving bowl with warm golden-to-reddish-brown color and varied grain. The blank was purchased locally.
Working with Mango began with a personal project: making a gift for my wife, who loves the fruit. This bowl is suitable for serving fruit and other dry foods and may also be displayed decoratively.
Finished with Mahoney’s walnut oil followed by a paste wax containing walnut oil, beeswax, and carnauba wax.
Care: Hand wash as needed and dry promptly. Do not soak or place in the dishwasher.
