As someone who is legally blind due to retinitis pigmentosa, I find joy in crafting small, meaningful objects.

Gentry Crafted began as a simple escape - a way to step away from screens and reconnect with the tangible world. What started as hand-carving wooden spoons soon became a passionate avocation.

These pieces are designed to be paired with food and spirits, bringing a touch of nature's artistry to everyday rituals.

what matters most

At Gentry Crafted, every item is unique and we rarely restock the same design. Instead, we continually create and offer something new— whether it's a spoon, shot glass, or bowl.

I'm not interested in mass production; I'd rather spend extra hours perfecting a piece than worry about its price tag. The wood itself often "instructs" what it wants to become.

Learning is at the heart of what we do. We've worked with nearly 70 types of wood, including found, reclaimed, and unidentified species from four continents. Each new material brings its own story and character.

spontaneity is key

I enter the woodshop with options, not rigid plans, leaving room for creativity and discovery.

Each piece is finished with polymerized walnut oil, and sometimes beeswax or carnauba wax, ensuring both beauty and durability.

If you're searching for something truly unique-crafted with care, inspired by nature, and made for connoisseurs-explore our inventory. At Gentry Crafted, every piece tells a story.
