Hand-shaped multicolor burl shot glass — one of one
Dimensions: Approx. 2¾ inches tall × 1⅝ inches in diameter
The Starry Night is handcrafted from professionally dyed and stabilized burl of an unidentified species. The rectangular blank was received through a maker exchange, then shaped, hollowed, sanded, and finished by hand using the pre-lathe methods from an earlier stage of Gentry Crafted’s work.
Its swirling burl figure carries multiple colors, including deep brown, warm gold and blue accents. While viewing other pieces for possible gifts, a neighbor compared its pattern to Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night, reinforcing the name of this one-of-a-kind piece.
Finish: Walnut oil, carnauba wax, and beeswax.
Care: Hand wash only. Do not soak or place in a dishwasher. Dry promptly after use.
