Hand-turned from a single block of stabilized River Tamarind Burl, this "one of one" pair captures the rugged beauty of the Indonesian riverbanks where the wood was sourced. As seen in the product images, the vacuum-stabilization process with green dye has transformed the burl into a landscape of deep emerald swells and rich brown knots.
The dye permeates the chaotic grain unpredictably—sometimes pooling in tight clusters like moss over stone, other times streaking across the surface like light through a canopy. Because they were turned as a pair, these vessels share a visual DNA while maintaining their own distinct patterns of black accents and reddish undertones. This set represents a study in contrast and a tangible connection to global craftsmanship.
