Hand-turned from Spalted Maple (Acer spp.), The Ink-Stained Hollow is defined by bold, ink-like spalting lines that move through pale maple grain and warmer brown figure. The deep, rounded form makes it a distinctive decorative bowl or catch-all while keeping the natural spalting as the visual focus.
Finished with Mahoney’s walnut oil followed by a paste wax containing walnut oil, beeswax, and carnauba wax.
Care: Hand wash only if needed, dry promptly, and do not soak or place in the dishwasher.
