Dyed Quaking Aspen Shot Glass (Seconds, One of One) Dimensions: Approx. 2¾” tall × 1⅝” diameter
Hand-turned from Quaking Aspen (Populus tremuloides), this "one of one" vessel is an exploration of color and movement. Aspen is known for its pale, calm base tone, which serves as a perfect canvas for experimental dye work. In this piece, layered colors wrap around the form, following the natural rhythm of the grain to create a soft, prism-like effect.
As part of our Seconds collection, this glass reflects early experimental color work or subtle visual irregularities that set it apart from our standard releases. It remains a fully functional, handcrafted piece—simple, honest, and a quietly distinctive study in how light and pigment interact with the organic structure of the wood.
