These shot glasses are crafted from River Tamarind Burl sourced from Indonesia and stabilized with green dye. As with many burls, the dye permeates the wood in unpredictable, organic patterns—sometimes pooling in tight clusters, other times streaking across the grain like moss over stone. Each piece is a study in contrast: rich brown burl knots meet deep emerald swirls, with hints of reddish undertones and black accents that shift with the light.
The wood has been stabilized—a process where resin is infused under vacuum and pressure—to reinforce structure and preserve the intricate figure. Finished with polymerized walnut oil, beeswax, and carnauba wax, these vessels are smooth to the touch and sealed for durability.
