The wood was stabilized and dyed blue, allowing the figure to emerge in layered currents of color. As light moves across the surface, the grain shifts subtly, revealing warm undertones beneath the blue.
The name Blue Current reflects the way the figure appears to flow vertically through the form—quiet, steady, and continuous.
